Saudi Navy Joins Anti-Piracy Mission

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has joined anti-piracy operations in the
Gulf.
The Royal Saudi Navy has been deployed in the international mission
against pirates in the Gulf of Aden. Saudi officials said their navy would
patrol areas of the Gulf as well as host foreign ships from the anti-piracy
force, which includes Britain, France, Germany, India and the United States.
"The navy has contributed three advanced frigates for the mission," a
Saudi official said.
