Algeria, UAE Discuss Military Cooperation

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Algeria and the United Arab Emirates have been examining
an expansion of military cooperation.
Officials said the two Arab League states have been discussing proposals
for joint defense and military programs. They said Algeria was also
examining the prospect of purchasing weapons and technology from the UAE.
"Algeria has been looking closely at the benefits of cooperation with
the UAE's defense industry," an official said.
