CAIRO [MENL] -- Egypt and Hamas have rejected a European proposal to deploy
international weapons monitors along the Sinai-Gaza border.
Officials said the regime of President Hosni Mubarak has dismissed a

Peninsula.
"We are talking about arrangements and measures," Egyptian Foreign
Minister Ahmed Abu Al Gheit said on Jan. 10. "There will be no international
