China Declines As Mideast Supplier

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- China has seen a decline in weapons exports to the
Middle East, a report said.
The Congressional Research Service said Beijing underwent a drop in arms
exports to the Middle East since 2007. CRS, in its annual survey of the
global defense market, said many Middle East states prefer the more advanced
equipment offered by Russia, the United States or Western Europe.
