U.S. Deploys 4,000 Combat Troops In Kuwait

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has decided to deploy at least 4,000
combat soldiers in Kuwait.
Officials said the Defense Department approved a plan to deploy 4,000
combat troops in Kuwait in 2012. They said the troops would come from units
assigned to withdraw from neighboring Iraq.
