Saudis, U.S. Reach F-15 Accord
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia and the United States have completed an
agreement for the sale of F-15 fighter-jets to the Gulf Cooperation Council
kingdom.
Both countries announced that Saudi Arabia would purchase and upgrade
more than 150 F-15s over the next 15 years. They said the agreement,
formally known as the Letter of Offer and Acceptance, was worth $29.4
billion and included the U.S. supply of advanced munitions, training and
logistics.
