UAE Hosts Maritime Security Parley

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- The United Arab Emirates has been preparing to host a
major security conference.
The UAE port of Dubai was scheduled to host the Intersec Maritime
Security Conference in mid-January 2012 in what would focus on anti-piracy
missions. The conference, organized by Epoc Messe Frankfurt, intends to
discuss piracy and other security threats to energy shipping in the Gulf and
surrounding region.
