China To Develop Iranian Oil Field

NICOSIA [MENL] -- China has been contracted to develop a crude oil field in
Iran.
The Iranian Oil Ministry said China has signed a $1.76 billion contract
to develop the North Azadegan oil field in southwestern Iran. The contract
with the state-owned China National Petroleum Corp. envisioned production
from North Azadegan to reach 750,000 barrels per day by 2013.
