Abbas Pursues Dahlan Outside PA

AMMAN [MENL] -- Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas has succeeded
in pursuing his leading rival outside the West Bank.
Abbas has persuaded Jordan to freeze all assets of former PA security
chief Mohammed Dahlan. Jordanian sources said the Central Bank, on orders of
Judge Mohammed Al Sourani, has placed a lien on all of Dahlan's assets amid
PA accusations that he embezzled hundreds of millions of dollars in official
funds.
