N. Africa Prepares For Arms Cuts

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- North African militaries have been preparing for major
budget cuts, a report said.
Forecast International has assessed that several North African states
were planning to significantly reduce military procurement over the next
four years. The Newtown, Conn.-based consultant cited the revolts in several
regional states as well as the need to absorb newly-ordered military
platforms.
