GCC, Turkey Enhance Defense Ties

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has increased defense cooperation with Gulf Arab
states.
Officials said the government of Prime Minister Recep Erdogan has made
significant inroads in the Gulf Cooperation Council over the last three
years. They said such GCC states as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia were procuring
Turkish weapons and military services as well as examining major joint
projects.
