S. Korea Offers To Buy Iron Dome
TEL AVIV [MENL] -- South Korea has upped the ante in the competition for
Israel's jet trainer project.
Industry sources said Seoul has pledged to purchase major weapons
systems from Israel in exchange for the sale of the T-50 jet trainer to the
Israel Air Force. The sources said South Korea has raised the prospect
that it would procure the Iron Dome missile and rocket defense system,
produced by Israel's state-owned Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.
