GCC Nervous Over U.S. Arms Sales

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Gulf Cooperation Council, amid huge deals, remains
nervous over weapons orders from the United States.
Officials said the six GCC states have sought to play down their
projects to acquire U.S. aircraft and other major combat platforms. They
said the Gulf Arab clients have asked Washington to withhold such
information as technology transfer and delivery schedule.
