L-M Presents Enhanced Variant

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Lockheed Martin, confronting huge delays in the Joint
Strike Fighter, has presented an enhanced variant of its popular F-16
multi-role fighter.
L-M has unveiled a design of a kit to modernize the 4,500 F-16s around
the world. The kit contained a range of enhancements for a new variant
called the F-16V, or Viper, said to be the equivalent of the Block 60 model.
