Cost Of U.S. Military Presence In Gulf Rises
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. naval presence in the Gulf was expected to
become increasingly costly and dangerous, a report said.
The American Enterprise Institute asserted that the U.S. Navy would face
increasing threats from Iran in the Gulf. In a report, AEI said the Iranian
Navy, with help from China, was developing and deploying systems and methods
that would endanger U.S. Navy vessels.
