Israel: M-346 More Flexible Than T-50

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The Israel Air Force has determined that Italy's M-346
was a more flexible air trainer than South Korea's T-50.
In an examination of the two advanced jet trainers, the air force
concluded that M-346 could allow Israeli pilots to operate such aircraft as
the U.S.-origin F-15, F-16 as well as the Eurofighter. In contrast, the
T-50, co-developed by Lockheed Martin, was deemed a smaller model of the
F-16.
