Sunni-Shi'ite Fighting Rages In N. Yemen

CAIRO [MENL] -- The new government in Yemen has failed to stop heavy
fighting between Sunnis and Shi'ites near the border with Saudi Arabia.
Yemeni sources said the military has failed to quell the war between Al
Qaida-aligned fighters and Iranian-backed Shi'ite rebels in the north. They
said the sectarian war was over control of several provinces near the Saudi
border.
