U.S. Enhances TOW Missile

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. Army has overseen the enhancement of a
tactical missile deemed a staple of many militaries in the Middle East.
The army has overseen a project by Raytheon to upgrade the
Tube-Launched, Optically-Tracked, Wireless, or TOW, missile. Under the
project, Raytheon and TOW developer ATK have been testing a new propulsion
team meant to double the range of the anti-tank guided missile.
