N. Africa Expands Border Security Ties

CAIRO [MENL] -- North Africa has expanded cooperation on border security.
At least nine North African states have agreed to expand border security
cooperation amid the growing threat by Al Qaida. The agreement came during a
summit in Tripoli that focused on counter-insurgency and arms smuggling
linked to Libyan militias.
