Iranian Officer Is Rising IRGC Star

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A senior Iranian officer was identified as representing
a new generation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
The American Enterprise Institute has identified Brig. Gen. Iraj Masjedi
as a senior adviser to IRGC's Quds Force. In a report, the Washington-based
institute asserted that Masjedi could provide a clue to the future IRGC
leadership.
