Saudis, U.S. Hold Defense Summit
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has held its first defense summit with the
United States in 2012.
Saudi Defense Minister Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz led a delegation to
Washington in April in his first official visit to the United States.
Officials said Salman, regarded as the only functioning decision-maker in
the Gulf Cooperation Council kingdom, met President Barack Obama and Defense
Secretary Leon Panetta in discussions that focused on Iran.
