Kuwait Said To Be Under Threat

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait, the leading host of the U.S. military in the
Gulf, was said to have come under increasing threat from Iran.
Kuwaiti sources, including parliamentarians, have asserted that the Gulf
Cooperation Council sheikdom faced a rising threat from the Shi'ite
minority. They said Iran was financing Shi'ite insurgents as well as
anti-royalist Sunnis to overthrow the ruling Al Sabah family.
