M.E. Targeted By U.S. Sat Industry

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has been preparing to approve
satellite exports to allies in the Middle East.
The Defense Department has recommended the lifting of restrictions on
commercial satellite exports. A Pentagon report said exports of
reconnaissance satellites would help the U.S. industry as part of the
restructuring of the U.S. Munitions List and Commerce Department's Commerce
Control List.
