Israel Sets Up Rocket Battalion

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- The Israel Army, in an effort to reduce the need
for tactical air strikes, has established a rocket-launch unit.
The Artillery Corps has been assigned the establishment of a
surface-to-surface rocket battalion in 2013. Military sources said this
would mark the first such unit and augment or even replace Israel Air
Force strikes on tactical ground targets.
