PAC-3 Sets Interoperability Precedent
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- A U.S. ballistic missile defense system deployed in the
Middle East has set a precedent in interoperability.
The U.S. Army has overseen a test that demonstrated interoperability
between PAC-3 and the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated
Netted Sensor. The test, conducted by PAC-3 prime contractor Lockheed
Martin, was meant to develop an integrated air and missile defense system.
