Bahrain Seeks GCC Naval Strategy

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Bahrain has sought a common naval strategy by the Gulf
Cooperation Council.
Officials said the six GCC navies were seeking to draft a strategy for
joint maritime security. They said the strategy called for cooperation and
interoperability that included Gulf Arab navies and coast guards.
