EU Seeks To Ease Oil Ban On Iran

LONDON [MENL] -- The European Union has sought to dilute a planned crude oil
embargo on Iran.
Officials said several EU states were concerned that the Western embargo
on Iranian oil exports would harm their economies. They cited several
scenarios, including Western sanctions on EU companies that insure companies
with ships that transport Iranian oil.
