Iraq Bans Major U.S. Contractor

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- Iraq has banned a major U.S. security contractor.
The Iraqi Interior Ministry has announced that Blackwater Worldwide
would no longer be allowed to operate in the country. The Jan. 29
announcement would prevent Blackwater from continuing contracts with the
State Department in Iraq.
"Blackwater is no longer welcome in Iraq because of its improper
conduct," a ministry official said.
