Iranian Opposition Demands FTO Removal

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran's leading opposition group has sought removal from
the State Department list of terrorist organizations.
The People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran has petitioned a U.S. Court
of Appeals to order the group's removal from the State Department's terror
list. The petition cited a judgement by the Court of Appeals in July 2010
for the removal of Mujahadeen from the Foreign Terrorist Organization list.
