Turkey Promotes Aerospace Sector

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey, intending to build a fighter-jet, has been
promoting cooperation and investment in the aerospace sector.
Officials have been briefing Western aerospace and defense majors on the
benefits of coproduction and other joint projects with Turkey. They said
Turkey could serve as an alternative to the high cost of
production in the United States or European Union.
