Iran's Conventional Military Declines
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- Iran, despite an advanced nuclear program, has
undergone a decline in conventional military capability, a report said.
The Center for Strategic and International Studies said Iran's military
was relying increasingly on missiles and asymmetric warfare. In a report
titled "The Gulf Military Balance in 2012," CSIS said Iran was facing a
well-equipped Gulf Cooperation Council, but marred by lack of
interoperability.
