U.S. Approves Missile Support For Greece

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has approved support for an
air-to-air missile sold to Greece.
The U.S. Defense Department has contracted Raytheon to provide
air-to-air missiles and support for the Hellenic Air Force. The Pentagon
said Raytheon received a $44.8 million contract for Advanced Medium Range
Air-to-Air Missile, or AMRAAM, as well as associated support.
"This action will provide Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile
Foreign Military Sales Air Intercept Missile [AIM] 120-C7 Software Tapes
18A/20," the Pentagon said on June 6.
