IAI Negotiates AEW In S. America

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Israel's leading defense contractor has been negotiating
with South American militaries to sell special mission aircraft.
Israel Aerospace Industries has briefed a string of air forces in South
America on the company's special mission aircraft. The configurations were
meant to enable airborne early-warning, intelligence collection and
reconnaissance based on the G-550, manufactured by Gulfstream Aerospace.
