Backed By Saudis, U.S. Breaks Defense Record
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States, bolstered by huge Saudi projects,
has set a new defense export record.
The State Department said U.S. military sales have reached a record in
2012 amid the processing of more than 83,000 arms export licenses. They said
arms exports in 2012 already exceeded $50 billion in fiscal 2012, an
increase of $20 billion from last year.
