U.S. Military Drafts Scenarios For Syria

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The U.S. military has relayed a series of contingencies
related to the Sunni revolt in Syria.
Officials said the Joint Chiefs of Staff has drafted and relayed to
President Barack Obama scenarios and responses to the collapse of the regime
of Syrian President Bashar Assad. They said the scenarios included a Sunni
rebel or Al Qaida takeover of Assad's vast weapons of mass destruction
arsenal.
