Mujahadeen Stays Put In Ashraf
WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has failed to persuade the Iranian
opposition to leave a camp in eastern Iraq.
The administration of President Barack Obama acknowledged that
efforts to relocate some 3,400 members of Mujahadeen Khalq and their
families from Iraq's Camp Ashraf have stalled. Officials said the Iranian
opposition members were refusing to leave Ashraf despite U.S. pledges to
remove Mujahadeen from the State Department's list of organizations deemed
terrorist.
