Syria Details Strike On Turkish F-4

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Syria has provided details of its downing of a Turkish Air
Force fighter-jet.
The Syrian Foreign Ministry said the military used air artillery to down
a Turkish F-4E on June 22. The ministry said the U.S.-origin Phantom was not
downed by a Syrian surface-to-air missile as reported by Ankara.
