Turkey Increases Military In Cyprus

ANKARA [MENL] -- Turkey has expanded its military presence in Cyprus.
Speakers at a conference in Istanbul said Turkey has deployed 40,000
soldiers in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. This marked an increase
of more than 30 percent over the last decade.
