U.S. Accelerates Last Stage Of Humvee In Iraq

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The United States has accelerated delivery of thousands
of Humvee combat vehicles to Iraq.
The Defense Department has awarded contracts to supply 8,500 Humvee
vehicles to the Iraq Army. The Pentagon program has been more than a year
behind schedule amid the U.S. military withdrawal from Iraq.
