Saudi Security Forces Used Against Dissidents
LONDON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia has been using its security forces to quell
dissent, a report said.
Amnesty International said the Saudi royal family has employed a range
of security and intelligence agencies to arrest and torture critics of the
kingdom. In a report, the London-based human rights group asserted that the
crackdown appeared directed by the Interior Ministry, led by the No. 2
figure in the regime, Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz.
