Iran Reports Major Oil Reserve

NICOSIA [MENL] -- Iran has reported the discovery of a major crude oil
reserve.
The Iranian Oil Ministry said the discovery was of a reserve with more
than 8.8 billion barrels of oil. The ministry said the reserve was located
in the Soussangerd oil field in the southwestern province of Khuzestan near
the border with Iraq. Iran has been deemed the second largest producer in
OPEC.
