Kuwait Plans Refinery Tender In August

ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Kuwait plans to launch its oil refinery tender in August
2008.
Officials said the state-owned Kuwait National Petroleum Co. would
allocate up to $19 billion, or five billion dinars, to upgrade two
refineries, Mina Abdullah and Mina Al Ahmadi. They said the tender for the upgrade would be
released in August after final approval from the government.
