Algeria Launches Exploration Effort

CAIRO [MENL] -- Algeria has launched an energy exploration effort.
The Algerian Oil Ministry has drafted a plan for crude oil and natural
gas exploration throughout the North African country. The $400 million plan,
drafted by the state-owned Sonatrach, called for drilling in northern
Algeria in 2010.
