Al Qaida Solicits Saudi Sheiks
ABU DHABI [MENL] -- Al Qaida has been soliciting prominent Saudis for funds
to fight the insurgency war in Yemen.
Islamic sources said Al Qaida clerics and operatives have approached
Saudi princes and other prominent nationals for funds for the war against
the U.S.-supported regime of Yemeni President Abdullah Saleh. The sources
said the solicitation took place during the Muslim fast month of Ramadan and
the subsequent festival of Id El Fitr.
