U.S. Plans Sharp Drop In Security Contractors In Iraq

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has been ordered to rapidly reduce
security contractors in Iraq.
Officials said the order was meant to take place over the next year as
the U.S. military moves into second phase of withdrawal from Iraq. They said
the number of security and other contractors for the U.S. military in Iraq
would be reduced to 75,000.
