U.S. Seeks To Complete Humvee Project In Iraq

BAGHDAD [MENL] -- The U.S. military has accelerated efforts to conclude a
delayed combat vehicle program for Iraq.
Officials said the U.S. Army has intensified efforts to train and
procure equipment for the overhaul of thousands of Humvee combat vehicles
for the Iraq Army. They said the Defense Department was determined to
conclude the program, nearly two years behind schedule, in mid-2010.
