State Firms Dominate Israel's Defense Industry

TEL AVIV [MENL] -- Despite years of reform efforts, state-owned companies
continue to dominate Israel's defense industry.
The Defense Ministry has issued data that showed that three out of the
four leading defense companies were owned by the state. The exception was
Elbit Systems, the second largest defense contractor in Israel.
