U.S. APPROVES ADDITIONAL ARMS SALES TO GULF

WASHINGTON [MENL] -- The Clinton administration has approved the sale ofadditional military equipment to Gulf states. Pentagon officials said the contracts include logistics for thepre-positioning of U.S. military supplies in Qatar and naval subsystems forthe United Arab Emirates.
