MUBARAK: PROPOSAL TO DIVIDE SOVEREIGNTY ON THE TEMPLE MOUNT

CAIRO [MENL] -- -Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has proposed dividedIsraeli-Palestinian sovereignity over the Temple Mount in the Old City ofJerusalem. In an effort to mediate a solution to the Jerusalem problem, Mubarak hasproposed that Israel and the Palestinians will share sovereignty overIslam's holy places inJerusalem.
