INDIA TESTS SHORT RANGE MISSILES

NICOSIA [MENL] -- India has successfully tested the Trident multi-role shortrange surface-to-air missile with a range of 50 kilometers. The Trident was launched from a national missile test zone in easternOrissa state, using a radar line-of-sight guidance and powered by atwo-stage solid propellant system.
